Our Halloween Bash

For years I have wanted to have a Halloween costume party. We finally had one and it was a gas!! Everyone dressed up, and for adults and their inhibitions, that was a success. No one recognized the Morrises...can you?? They won first place in couples costume and really deserved it. Bobby won first place guys costume for his scary Crow indian and Megan Klug won best girls costume with her "get down" Flav. (Gotta find me a clock necklace like that!) We missed those who didn't come, but we hope to see you all in the spring for our Carne Asada barbeque! We love you all.

Katy Ann

Katy is now one busy girl, with turning 17 in March and being a Junior and all at Gilbert High School. She studies hard and keeps her grades up. She loves her horse Roxy and takes her on rides every weekend and can lope for hours and hours, run up any hill and kick every other horses butt! And not to meantion Roxy is 21 (what an old lady). She is in FFA and had a Goat, Mia, for 8 months. Kate sold it in April at the county fair and even though it was a sad day and Kate was emotional, she will never forget the experince. School is almost over and in a few weeks she will be livin' life of luxury and preparing to go to london with Alli in August with a few friends for one crazy girls trip!!!!! Oh and she went to Prom with her boyfriend Kyle and she looked so beautiful and it was great to see her smiling and happy.

Current Goin' On's.....

Well right things are going great for the Ginos family. Katy and Dad are into horses and Dad thinks he is the real Wyatt Earp! He has started wearing his cowboy boots again and bought a pair of wranglers (mom never thought she would see wranglers in the closet again!). Kate bought her own pair of boots and even got a cowboy hat alongside her dad. Alli is now at BYU Idaho and having a blast! She is missed and the house is alot quieter, but we do have more cheese is the fride due to lack of quesadilla making for her friends. And mother is busy as always, trying to get her "eternal list" dont, but somehow things just keep getting added on.

Pete and Stephanie tie the knot!

Once again I am going back in time to this past summer. Unfortunalty I haven't learned how to put pictures in order on the blog, so it's all out of order! But in July they got married and we are so excited and happy for them. All of Pete's family were here, even his brother from back east.
They are doing great, making a home for themselves in Queen Creek. Here are a few pictures of the wedding, outside the temple. Maybe I'll get more later.

Our girls in Europe!

I need to back up a few months to August. Alli and Katy and Heather and Megan Lee went to London and Paris. This was an opportunity of a lifetime. They got Buddy passes for the flight from Heather's Mom, and my nephew Jeff Driggs lives in London and so they had free room and board with him and his wife. What a deal! They loved getting to know Christina and Jeff better. The three days, four girls alone in Paris, was defintely a highlight. Jeff found them a beautiful hotel for cheap (He is mister "find the deal"). They jammed a lot into 9 days, but that's what being young is all about. Alli took her new awesome digital Nikon and took lots of pictures. It was a bonding and lifetime memory for my girls. Here are just a few pictures.

Burn baby burn! Thursday Sept. 25

Well I went and did a big daddy of dumb things to do. I caught part of my kitchen on fire. There will be no photos on this one people! It actually wasn't that bad but could of been. A spark ignited a box of matches in my kitchen drawer and luckily I came back into the kitchen before the flames were too big. Had I gotten into the shower as planned, (thank goodness I'm a slob) my whole kitchen probably would have been in flames. Thank you to the little voice that told me to check on the "pop" that I heard. All that was lost was the contents of my junk drawer (can we call that a loss???), and a little cabinetry.

A Saturday together.....

Bobby and I decided to forget all our other responsibilities and get away and go coyote hunting together. (pictures to come) We made 5 "stands" and he called in two and killed two male coyotes. By 11:00 it was pretty hot and so we called it a day. It was fun to be with Bobby when he is so in his element. I filmed the whole thing and decided he now has a new nickname. "Coyote Man"!
